On January 2009 Mr. Orlando Molina coached a group of 6 students from Metropolitan Ballet Theatre (MBT), GA. to participate at the Youth America Grand Prix regional semi-final in SC. At this competition Brianna Watkins won 1st place in the Senior Classical category; Lindsey Stevens won 2nd place in the Senior Classical category and 1st place in the Senior Contemporary category; and Luis Gonzales won 3 place in Senior Classical category. Also MBT was selected as outstanding school award and Mr. Molina received the outstanding teacher award.
Bio
Orlando Molina was born in Guane, Pinar del Rio-Cuba. He began his ballet training at the age of 10 at the Vocational School of Art where he studied for five years. In 1987 he was accepted into the National Ballet School in Habana. After 3 years he received his Diploma as a f Dancer/Teacher from the Cuban School of Ballet. Read More...
